I am glad the internet exists as a place to find an audience. I am glad that we can create things and share them without having to fit into the industry or find a market. I hope we always keep creating things.

It's been fun getting to go through all of these pages again. This was a comic four years in the making, but I have loved doing it, and find great sanctification in being able to finally bring the whole thing to a close. This endeavor has seen me through the death of my father, the death of my dog, the loss of a job, and a long period of depression. Making comics has always been therapeutic for me. I value being able to devote myself into something that I have control over, when sometimes the world feels like it's out of your control. It keeps me moving forward.

Thank you for making it this far with me.

Best Of Bad Decisions is actually my second completed comic, and I am debating uploading my first (it is very old and not very good looking though). I'll decide that later. if you've liked what you've seen, check out my current running comic: Doe of Deadwood.

@Silvertheumbreon: I actually originally intended on doing one more extra short for Best Of but I've been so dedicated and invested in Doe of Deadwood, that it hasn't happen yet ^^; Nothing as extreme as a bonus chapter or anything though.

I am honestly really sad that this is over. I've been reading this comic for awhile now, and I loved the story all the way through. Ire was my favorite character- after she died it became Brave. I love how all the characters learn lessons, and have personalities. Thank you for this beautiful and well made comic, and I will continue to read your other comics.

(Also, Thistle has to be one of the funniest characters ever. Just reading some of his lines in the past few pages- he's amazing)

@Sparrow726: I am glad I was able to expand my audience here on SJ and get to revisit the memories of this comic. Thank you for reading until the end!

(Thistle? The deceased daughter of Snotty and Smiles?)

@Songdog: Whoops, I meant Gristle. Sorry, I got the names mixed up!

this has been my favorite webcomic for a really long time! im sad to see it end, but to see it end happily was one of the best things about it! i can't wait to see what happens with doe of dead wood, that also being one of my absolute favorites. i hope that after doe of deadwood, you will continue to mak these amazing stories about the harsh lives simple animals have to live through

@Noistorm: I was happy to finally tell a story with something resembling a happy ending, as I don't get to very often. I can make no promises for the future, just to keep doing what I'm already working on now ^^

This was a really good story and I'm glad I finally got to read it!!

What you said about comics being therapeutic when we have creative control really resonated with me, it's how I feel about my comic (not all the time but a lot of the time). And you've given me the inspiration to work harder on my main project and maybe have a go at a smaller story with talking animals one day - it's a genre I love but never do anything in and Best of Bad Decisions made me reconsider that.

Thank you for sharing this! And you bet I'll be back talking all over the comment section of Doe of Deadwood, I'm like a coyote that way. :P
